Acne, often referred to as “buttons,” is the most common skin disease treated by doctors. But it’s not the same as acne. Acne can be categorized into two categories: red pimples and blackheads or whiteheads. We’re here to help you solve this problem for blackheads and whiteheads.
Blackheads are called “open comedons,” which are small dark spots on the skin. A white comedon is called a “closed comedon.” It is a step towards clearer skin than learning more about the causes of comedons and how to treat them.
Blackheads are usually filled with keratin, sebum and squamed cells and, due to a chemical reaction, gives the follicle material the typical black color. Whiteheads, on the other hand, are follicles that are filled with the same material as blackheads, but have only a microscopic opening on the surface of the skin. And because the air cannot reach the follicle properly, the material remains white because it is not oxidized
There is no miracle cure for getting rid of blackheads and whiteheads, but there are home remedies that can do wonders on your skin.
1. EGG WHITE MASK
Egg white is extremely good for the skin because it is rich in nutrients.
- 1 egg;
- 1 clean towel;
- A small bowl;
- Toilet paper or a facial tissue.
Separate the white from the egg yolk. Rinse your face thoroughly and dry your face. Then apply the egg white to your face and gently press the egg whites over your face with a toilet paper or tissue. Keep this layer for 5 to 10 minutes so it can dry, then apply a second layer to toilet paper or paper. Also let this layer dry.
You can also apply a third layer, but this is optional. If your mask is totally dry, your face should be tense. Remove the mask and remove any residue you may have, then rinse your face with lukewarm water and apply your favorite moisturizer.
2. CINNAMON AND HONEY STRIPS
It is a powerful combination because honey contains many anti-bacterial agents. On the other hand, cinnamon improves circulation.
Listen to this:
Raw organic honey;
Clean cotton strips.
Mix the honey with the cinnamon and apply a thin layer to your blackheads. Squeeze a few strips of cotton over and let it work for five to eight minutes, then remove the diaper and rinse your face with hot water. Apply your favourite moisturizer.
3. CLEANSING SUGAR SCRUB
Exfoliation eliminates dead skin cells that clog your pores, and believe it or not, it’s something you need to do regularly.
Listen to this:
4 tablespoons jojoba oil;
1 cup white or brown sugar;
1 jar of airtight glass;
Some essential oils of your choice – optional;
Mix and stir the sugar and jojoba oil until smooth. Store in an airtight glass jar and keep it cold. Before applying, stir the combination well. Remember to apply it to a wet face and massage your face with circular motions, and let it work for 20 to 30 minutes.
Rinse with water and apply your favourite moisturizer. Note: Do not use this combination more than a few times a week, otherwise you may cause skin irritation.
4. LEMON JUICE SCRUB
Lemon juice contains many vitamins and nutrients that can be really effective against blackheads, so this scrub is perfect for this skin problem.
Listen to this:
Rose water or milk;
Mix honey, yoghurt, salt and lemon juice and apply the combination evenly to your face and rub the most affected area. You can also mix rose water or milk with lemon juice alone to create a skin cleanser, and you can apply both mixtures every day for 10 to 12 days.
5. GREEN TEA
Green tea can be excellent for our health in many ways. You may not have known, but green tea is also excellent against blackheads.
- Green tea leaves;
- A Teaspoon;
- A soft towel;
- A bowl.
Place your green tea leaves in a bowl and pour a little water over them. Now mix these two sheets to get a paste and you can use a blender to do that. Then place the dough gently on the blackheads and rub for a few minutes. Rinse the dough with lukewarm water once you’re done and dry your skin with a soft towel before applying a moisturizer.
